Auditions for B&H’s fall production of Edward II are THIS SATURDAY!
Open auditions will be held 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM Saturday, June 20th at George Mason Regional Library in Annandale, VA.
Edward II is by Elizabethan playwright and poet Christopher Marlowe. Like his contemporary and competitor Shakespeare, Marlowe writes in iambic pentameter and draws inspiration for his works from legend, preexisting stories, and history.
Marlowe’s fictionalized account of real-life English king Edward II’s reign centers on the political intrigue surrounding Edward and his lover, Gaveston. Do you like complex relationships? Nefarious plots? Tragic downfalls? Edward II has it all!
