Gentles, do not reprehend: Britches and Hose is pleased to announce its upcoming season! We’ve had fun spending 2014 in 19th-century Britain with Wilde, Doyle, and Dickens, but we’re excited to return to Shakespeare in 2015.
We’ll kick off the season with assassination and intrigue in ancient Rome in Shakespeare’s JULIUS CAESAR, directed by James Robin Adams. Performances are April 3rd – 5th, 2015.
In the summer, we’ll bring on the woodland magic and wacky romantic hijinks in Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, directed by Leandra Lynn. Performances are June 26th – 28th, 2015.
In the fall, we’ll perform the never-before-seen full saga of THE ADVENTURES OF PIZZA BOY AND MAGGIE, written by our very own Kelsey Hancher! Performances are September 11th – 13th, 2015. (Dates subject to change.)
We’ll close out the season with swordplay, strife, and shenanigans in Shakespeare’s HENRY IV PT 1, directed by Arielle Seidmann. Performances are Jan. 8th – 10th 2016.
But remember, 2014 isn’t done just yet! We hope you’ll join us Dec. 12 – 13 for Charles Dickens’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL, directed by Dan Clark and adapted by Joe Campanella.
